Megan Mullally Home Decor
Looking at the house of Megan Mullally you understand again that talented people are talented in everything they do. The decoration of the house performed under the guidance of this singer and actress demonstrated her talent in décor too. You will not see futuristic plasma in the and she is not involved in "real-estate roulette" as she put it having acquired her home with Nick Offerman in 2003 after the duplex they had earlier. The couple enjoys watching TV in bed and call themselves homebodies. This sounds a bit strange for two media persons.
When they bought the house, they currently own, they liked the views from the window, scale of the rooms, modern style and symmetrical floor plan. Mullally got down to business at once, and work over aesthetics of the place was launched.
The first rooms that were subjected to renovation were kitchen and dining rooms. Famous designer Ames Ingham joined her later and together they created really impressive interior.
The designer liked to work with Megan who is ready to do something for hours until it is done perfectly. The design would not be so successful without her incredible curiosity and knowledge.
The contrast effect was employed at full during the decoration. Coat of white paint contrasting the ebony stained floors became the stage which was filled with plenty of accessories in the same way.
Contemporary furniture was emphasized with Asian antiques. We see neutral colors on the one hand that are complemented suddenly by bold features – such accessories as graphic rags, for instance.
Such unexpected surprises are everywhere and are scattered around the house making the design stylish and unpredictable. The interior becomes interesting thanks to them. The design is worth admiring thanks to bold gestures that made the design unique.
But not only furnishing in the eclectic style animates the house. Personal collections that reveal the passions and likes of people living in the house make the house alive. One can see vintage comic books, art collection with emphasis on landscapes and portraits and etc.
Megan Mullally confessed that the designer's career is the second career she would choose and we must agree that she would be really good in it.
