Look around. Don't you find your kids' room to be too messy and overwhelming to deal with? Didn't you get tired to pick up toys left by your kids on the sofa, in your favorite arm-chair and right in the middle of the room? What really bugs most parents is a cluttered floor space in the playroom. Moreover, there can be things in the playroom which should not be there to make it more spacious and safe for kids.

We have already raised the problem of children's room organization. Here are some extra tips to help parents with organizing the messy playroom. As there is a saying "a place for everything and everything is in its place".

1. Use shelves and bines and drawers in the playroom to keep things there, but do not use things made of iron and having sharp angles. Their use can result in injures, as well as the bins with lids.

2. Toys chest makes possible for the kids to find toys quickly. Of course, old toys and books are associated with special memories, but do not keep all of them in the playroom. As a rule, when you buy a new toy, you kid forgets about a favorite teddy bear. Most kids play only with their favorite toys. So do not keep in the playroom toys they never play with.

Use simple decor items. Do not use expensive pieces of furniture if you are not ready to say them "good bye". At the same time, furniture used in the playroom must be durable and functional. Too tall pieces of furniture can be unsafe for kids. So try to use children's size pieces of furniture.

3. Try not to use sole-colored woolen rugs. Patterns and dark colors tend to hide stains. Synthetic rugs are easier to maintain and clean.

4. Create panting/reading area. Choose some cozy corner where your child could express him/herself, definitely not on the floor.

5. And finally safety of the kids in playroom: make sure there are no hanging blind cords and all outlets are covered, especially in case of toddlers.

The children's playroom should be a place where they can enjoy games and have fun, but not injure themselves. If the things are kept where they are supposed to be and there is nothing dangerous in the room, everything will be OK.
