We all love our pets. But let's agree, they often create problems with cleaning. Their fur on the furniture and carpets, muddy paws, occasional accidents and odors make us spend a lot of time cleaning up the floor and furniture after out pets. How to maintain our house clean? First of all, we should keep our pets clean. The cleaner our pets are, the cleaner our house is. For example, brushing our pets regularly we can lessen an amount of their hair on our armchairs and carpets.

As for the dirt, stop it right at the entrance door. How to do it? You may learn your cat to use a litter box with a mat placed in front of it. The litter box with a special filter can also help to minimize spraying and odors.

As for the floor, if your cat or dog leaves muddy tracks on the floor, take an old towel to wipe them right at the door. Too muddy paws have to be rinsed in a bucket with warm water and then dried with a towel kept at the door.

The pet's bedding has to be shaken regularly outdoors and washed every week. To minimize the amount of dirt, use an easy washable blanket or a cover for the pet's bedding.

The carpets are recommended to sprinkle with a deodorizing powder one time a week. It will keep them smelling fresh. If you do not like deodorants, you may leave baking soda on the carpet overnight and then vacuum clean it. A pot of vinegar simmer left on the stove keeps the house smelling fresh. It removes any impurities, deodorizes and neutralizes odors.

You can also remove unwanted odors with an electric air purifier. Never use cleaning agents using ammonia, because there is ammonia in urine. Your cat will think the flooring or carpets cleaned with bleach smell like urine. Pet urine spots are damped with paper towels and then cleaned using a mixture containing 1 teaspoon of vinegar and one quart of water.

Remove the soiled litter from the cat's pan using vinegar. Pour vinegar in the cat's pan and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Before filling it again, sprinkle half a cup of baking soda over its bottom. To wipe up the pets hair from the furniture, use a damp sponge, a lint brush, a wet rubber glove or a special pet rake rubber brush. For the carpets use a vacuum-cleaner with a brush roll or a beater brush.
