Easter Home Decoration - Get Your Home Ready for Easter!

Easter is cheerful and honest-to-God family holiday. At this day all the relatives and close people should gather together for family dinner, forgetting old misunderstanding and forgiving former mistakes. The first thing that you should do is to prepare your home for a festival of love and inspiration. Let every guest in your house feel the Easter spirit and enjoy warm and cozy atmosphere.
There are several steps of transformation your home into a place of Easter traditions and God’s blessing. First of all, use the main Easter attributes as the main decorative elements in your house. For example, create a sensation of mental peace and balance, using bright spring colored candles in the shape of eggs. Put them into small glasses or special glass candlesticks and decorate your festive table, window sills and other appropriate surfaces.

As Easter is the feast of rebirth, new life, and universal love, it’s associated with light, bright or pastel colors. Egg shells may be also useful for the festive candle making. All you need is to pour melted wax into shells’ halves and place a small cake candle inside. To make it colorful add few grated crayons to the melted wax.

Make small decorative nests, using dried or fresh field flowers, thin twigs and hair grass or artificial straw, afterwards fill them with different confectioneries, especially with pastry eggs and place these nests all over the room. Don’t forget to put the main and the biggest nest on the festive table. Following the same method create a hand-made Easter wreath. You can make a few wreaths: the largest one for the main door and smaller ones for the windows, walls and interior doors. Start with the basis, using a branch of vine or willow as a foundation, and then try to attach smaller willow twigs with springs, flowers, toy like birds, butterflies and decorative eggs.
Put a couple of chocolate or simple boiled eggs, wrapped in the colorful foil paper, into tiny metal or wooden piggins, and place them at each guest’s seat. Let it be a little surprise for them.
