Girls Room Decoration
A child must be surrounded with beauty from his or her early childhood. When designing bedroom interior for your little daughter, consider fairy tales, vivid colors and beautiful toys. Hearts are also an interesting detail of the interior - they symbolize the dream of a beautiful future with the handsome prince, the great love and happiness. Use soft natural fabrics with flowers, different animals or fairy-tale characters for pillows, bed covers and tulles.
Interior designer recommend covering the floors in girls’ rooms with white soft carpets. Paint the walls in light pink, blue or white color. It will give the feeling of comfort and facilitate a good sleep. You may also use wallpapers with different creatures, butterflies, vine leaves instead of painting.
The ceiling can be decorated with the stars and different planets; the chandelier can be in the shape of the sun, moon, etc. Night lamps and large toys all over the room will allow creating a warm atmosphere and help a child not to be scared at night. Puffs will prevent a child from hitting if she falls.
If you design a bedroom for a teenage girl, it’s very important to involve her in this process. You must consider her opinion and tastes while choosing the color of the walls, the furniture and even small details. Let her room express her personality. At first sight her bedroom may look not very cozy to you, but it doesn’t mean she thinks so. Teenage girls prefer brightness in everything: it can be vivid pink or red color, extraordinary color combinations, for example, pink and black, large posters or photos on the walls or something that can speak about their character and interests. There must be a big wardrobe for clothes, shoes and accessories and dressing table for all her cosmetic products, shelves for all her personal stuff: gifts, pictures of friends, souvenirs, books, CDs, some awards. A large rollout bed with many-colored bed cover and lots of pillows of different fabrics and unusual colors will impress her friends and allow her to invite them to sleepovers.
